A little about us….

We’ve been married since 1994. Over the last 27 years, we’ve raised 3 kiddos, lived in 7 states, and done some traveling. We’ve hiked the mountains of Colorado, walked the beaches of the west and east coasts, and lived in the heartlands of America.

When our youngest was in her senior year, as many parents do, we realized quite a bit of our time was about the kids! We wanted to find a way to reconnect, and by chance, Eric came across a birding festival (The Biggest Week in American Birding) right here in northern Ohio. We decided to check it out and our love of birding combined with traveling have made the last few years really fun. We’ve been planning and taking trips for the last couple years and decided to share our memories, photos, and thoughts on this page.
