Lake Placid and Adirondack Park

From Niagra Falls, we traveled across New York State to Vermont with a brief stop in Lake Placid. While not seeing any giant alligators was disappointing, the village of Lake Placid and the Adirondack area was simple beautiful. At 6 million acres it really deserves a dedicated visit.
