Liberty State Park

The first stop on Bella’s and my tour of New England was Elk County, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the Elk there were uncooperative. Finally, we heard a bull elk bugle, it was majestic. It was still over 80 degrees, and the elk herd were cozily hidden in the woods. I will try again maybe next year but this time it was just too early in the rutting season so sadly no elk pictures. :(

What I do have for this gallery is the second stop, at Liberty State Park, in New Jersey. We stayed on the mainland and didn’t go out to Ellis Island to see the Statue of Liberty up close. We still had a great time in the park. We recommend it to anyone interested in history and architecture.
