In May of 2024, a once in a generation Aurora Borealis hit the Northern Hemisphere. We ran out to Killdeer Plains because it is close and in a low light area. Between ODOT and a train, we got there later than what we wanted so we didn’t have any time to scout locations. I am not saying this one was bad, but I think it could have been better.
